Sophomore Brooke Bennett enjoys making the Taylor Swift Chai Cookies, describing them as “soft and really good.” Bennet also loves how it gives her the feeling of autumn. “I like to make them around fall because it just has the same energy,” she said.
Junior Alessandro Lisa likes baking sweet treats such as apple cobbler over the weekends and recommends this apple cider cupcake recipe to celebrate the fall season. “This recipe is great to make during a cold day, staying inside and enjoying the aromas of the cider.”
Chemistry teacher Stuart Albaugh’s favorite fall treat is a pumpkin cheesecake. He loves the recipe by Preppy Kitchen but tweaks it to his taste, adding orange zest. “Putting a little bit of orange in there makes it taste way better,” Mr. Albaugh said.
Sophomore Aviva Mitrani-Reiser loves making a variety of fall treats, from apple pies to pumpkin spice lattes. However, she especially enjoys making homemade Pumpkin Spice Frappucinos, sharing her simple yet delicious recipe of “coffee, cinnamon, milk, sugar, and ice.”
