On Wednesday, April 19, students voted for their preferred SMOB candidate in English class. Additionally, students voted for class and school-wide SGA officers in their social studies class.

Against a backdrop of Democratic Party volunteers holding campaign signs, he spoke about his new student debt policy, the IRA, and defeating the “MAGA Republicans” in the coming November midterms. “People need to be aware of right-wing extremists, who are willing to fight for what they want,” Elly Shaw-Belblidia, “Democrat of the Year” and Chair of Maryland Democratic Party, said.
