As the holidays approach, many people find themselves embracing the attitude of gratitude. Richard Montgomery, one of the top-ranked schools in the county, is renowned for its inclusivity, wide range of opportunities, and education (such as the IB program). Its success in maintaining this reputation comes from the passion of students and adults across the building. Beyond RM’s hard-working principal and teacher body, an entire team of staff serves as the backbone of the building. Beyond the holiday spirit, multiple members have been photographed to spread appreciation and thankfulness year-round. For the smallest of scratches to severe pain, the health room is always ready to take care of students. Ms. Uche B. Onyeka is one of the two main staff members in the health room. “After I sprained my ankle, [Mrs. Onyeka] was really nice and welcomed me in,” freshman Zoya Jabwalpura said. “She gave me a frozen paper towel and helped me call my mom. RM should appreciate school nurses more.”
