Angela Wang is a social studies teacher at Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, Maryland. She teaches NSL Government and U.S. History courses to various grade levels.
Ms. Wang’s work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 2:30 PM. At lunch, she helps students with their courses and answers questions they may have. In the afternoons, she goes home and supports her boys’ activities. “As a teacher, I love my job,” Ms. Wang has said many times in class.
Besides her school work, Angela Wang is a mother and wife, enjoying a happy family with adorable children and a loving husband. She said, “My daily life includes a messy space for my boys to do their work because they won’t clean up their work area! “ In her limited downtime, Ms. Wang enjoys spending time with her children, though she also finds it frustrating to drive them everywhere. She also plays an important and indispensable role in the family.
She loves every aspect of teaching at Richard Montgomery High School and encourages students to face challenges and proactively solve problems. She always treats students who have learning problems equally. She always asks them with a smile: “Do you need help with your studies? You can come to me during lunch or after school, and I will help you.” She hopes to bring positive changes to students’ learning. She believes, “With hard work and perseverance, you will improve.”
She works hard to do her teaching job well and she hopes that her students can truly learn new knowledge in her class. She is a patient, enthusiastic, positive and optimistic high school teacher. She represents all the teachers at Richard Montgomery High School and is a microcosm of every ordinary teacher who strives for the cause of education.
