In this episode of the TidePod, we spoke with Mr. Taylor and mock trial team members about their current season. The team is split into two groups, defense and prosecution. The two sides alternate competitions as they argue the two sides. The team finished their regular season and is now transitioning to the playoffs. After winning the state championship in 2023, the team looks to make a deep run in their playoff competition to return to the top of the state.

Senior Shelby Roth is in her fourth year on The Tide, having previously edited for Sports and Opinions. She is excited to work on making The Tide Online fun and engaging. In her free time, Shelby enjoys playing field hockey and reading.

Senior Rihanna Pabai is looking forward to her third year on the Tide, this year as a Video editor! She will also be a contributor to the Arts section. She is so excited to share videos about the RM community and work with video contributors! In her free time, she loves watching movies, drawing, and listening to music.

Freshman Nika Hann is a first-time Sports Contributor and Photographer for the Tide. She hopes to get some great action shots and improve her writing skills. Outside of the Tide, Nika enjoys playing soccer and listening to music.
