Senior guard Dante Mayo drills a three-pointer early in the game. The first quarter went back and forth as both teams were trying to settle into the pace and intensity of the game. Mayo has been one of the best shooters in the county this year, and finished the game with 18 points. In an away gym, Mayo focused more on his calmness before the game. "During pregame, I focus a lot on getting a breathing routine so I can stay calm and ready for the game. The breathing really helps in high pressure situations so I don’t lose my focus," Mayo said.
