Sophomores Joelle Lee and Christine Li make handwritten cards and origami swans for cancer patients. They are part of the RM branch of the Kits to Heart organization, which delivers care packages full of cards, origami, and friendship bracelets to the sick. “My mom is a cancer survivor, so I naturally got into it,” Lee said. “I was told if your high school doesn’t have a Kits to Heart branch you can create one, so I did.”
