Students make their way to their buses after school on Sept. 20. Recently, some students have been having trouble finding their buses at the end of the school day. Bus maps are posted detailing where each bus is supposed to be parked, but often times, buses end up in different spots. This can be confusing for students, especially freshmen, who are new to the building. Because I have to go get my flute from the orchestra room, I have to walk, like, really far. And sometimes, my bus just isnt in the place it says it will be. It can be a bit of a struggle, sophomore Allison Wong said.

Jamming out in front of the auditorium, the RM Jazz Band puts on a performance during lunch on Thursday, May 26. The band played six songs in total, including fan-favorites like the Rocky theme song, and included solos from Dr. Perry, the director of RMs bands and orchestras. Its not just my music, but its syncing with everyone else: with the percussion, the rhythm, the saxophones, the trombones, the trumpets. When it all comes together, it makes something thats better than the individual parts, senior and trumpet player Samuel Edwards said.

The RM parking lot is infamous for its small size and the traffic that occurs in the mroning and at the end of the day. Some students try to be the first in the parking lot to avoid the jam of cars exiting school. The lot is a mess in the afternoon and it can take 15-20 minutes to get out of there on a bad day, said senior Una Mekic. Student drivers think its time for a change. The school definitely needs to address the parking issue and find some alternative places for students to park, said junior Kelsey Lee.

Members of the SGA sit on Main Street at lunch to collect donations for Ukrainian refugees via the World Central Kitchen. The World Central Kitchen, which was founded in 2010, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing meals during disasters. [Our goal is] to raise money and to spread awareness about Ukraine at RM, SGA advisor Toni Kellinger said.
