The RM parking lot is infamous for its small size and the traffic that occurs in the mroning and at the end of the day. Some students try to be the first in the parking lot to avoid the jam of cars exiting school. The lot is a mess in the afternoon and it can take 15-20 minutes to get out of there on a bad day, said senior Una Mekic. Student drivers think its time for a change. The school definitely needs to address the parking issue and find some alternative places for students to park, said junior Kelsey Lee.

MCPS faces growing county-wide bus driver shortages. 92 bus routes were unexpectedly canceled, leaving hundreds of students without a ride to school. Many buses will have to make multiple routes to accommodate the lack of drivers. A lot of students have to wait over an hour after school just to get picked up, junior Kelsey Lee said.
