Every Monday, math team meets to cover topics from preparing for upcoming math competitions to discussing probabilities involved in poker. “Learning the maths and probabilities behind poker is a very enriching and entertaining activity that we should all enjoy. Learning is meant to be dynamic and fun,” Zhu said.

With the semester coming to a close, sophomore Adelaide Keller studies for exams. This time is vital as grades are being finalized and semester tests are going on. "Rocket Refresh allows me to prioritize my time and study for upcoming quizzes and tests throughout the day," Keller said.

Weaving through Rocket Refresh, Senior Emily Perkins crochets her Christmas-themed hat. Rocket Refresh is a time for students to catch up on work, make up assignments, relax and do what they wish. "I really love Rocket Refresh because I can actually get a break. When I don't have too much work to do, I like to bring in my crochet work to just relax and listen to music," Perkins said.

Junior Callie Guttman spins the dreidel at the Jewish Student Union monthly meeting. This month, the meeting led by junior Izzy Triandafilou was dedicated to celebrating Hanukkah. The club meets to discuss events in the Jewish community, Jewish heredity, and celebrate holidays."I love having a room to be together with other Jewish kids at the school," Guttman said.

Freshman Juliana Fire (black #10) pushes through a 2-3 defense. “Against difficult defense I try to stay composed and not panic, keep my head up so I can see the whole court and see who’s open, while working to keep my dribble low and controlled so the defense is less likely to steal it.
