According to Forbes “In 1971, the voting age was lowered from 21 to 18 and historically, young voters have seen high participation in elections, especially in the 2020 presidential cycle, when youth turnout was about 50%.” The polarized atmosphere of the political circle seems to have drawn the interest of Gen Z in recent years.
