Photo of the Day: Jazz band celebrates the end of the year

Jamming out in front of the auditorium, the RM Jazz Band puts on a performance during lunch on Thursday, May 26. The band played six songs in total, including fan-favorites like the Rocky theme song, and included solos from Dr. Perry, the director of RM’s bands and orchestras. “It’s not just my music, but it’s syncing with everyone else: with the percussion, the rhythm, the saxophones, the trombones, the trumpets. When it all comes together, it makes something that’s better than the individual parts,” senior and trumpet player Samuel Edwards said.
