For their spring musical, Richard Montgomery’s Black Maskers performed The Sound of Music. After content challenges and an accelerated production schedule, the cast and crew put on four evening shows on April 1st, 2nd, 7th, and 8th. The directors and drama board selected the musical based on its familiarity and positive themes. The musical is the first in-person Black Maskers production to involve a full cast and crew since schools closed in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
