BRUSH ALONG navy stripes, senior and set decoration chief Kit Brown paints in the background for “The Play That Goes Wrong.” As RM’s Black Maskers prepare for the upcoming spring play, numerous backstage crews select color palettes, fix wooden set pieces and drill them all together, constructing the bones of the show. “No matter who you are or what your role is, everybody knows you and everybody appreciates you,” Brown said. “Set dec specifically has been really great because I am not an artist, I’m not a painter, but it has been something I was able to pick up from the chiefs and then kind of move into that leadership role.”
