City of Rockville: On Friday, all city facilities will close at 3 p.m. and all afternoon and evening programs, classes and activities are canceled. On Saturday, Jan. 23, all city facilities will be closed and all programs, classes and activities are canceled.
City of Rockville: City Manager Barb Matthews has declared a snow emergency that requires all vehicles to be removed from roads within the City of Rockville, including neighborhood streets, by noon on Friday, Jan. 22.
Colleges: George Mason, George Washington, Frostburg State, Johns Hopkins, Montgomery College, UMD all closed throughout Sunday
DC Public Libraries: Closed through Monday
Highways: I-270 from Capital Beltway to Frederick, I-70 from I-695 to I-81, temporarily closed for travel Saturday night
Kicks Karate: Closed all of Sunday, open at 12:00 PM on Monday
MCPS: Montgomery County Public Schools are closed Tuesday (Jan 26) due to emergency weather conditions. All school and community activities in school buildings are canceled.
Metro: Rail and bus services are suspended throughout the weekend. Buses will only run on major corridors throughout the day Friday and will stop at 5pm. Trains will run normally Friday during the day, then stop at 11 PM.
MTA: Service suspended throughout Sunday
Safeway: King Farm Branch closing early Friday night
