Junior Isabella Gonzales-Carranza grabs an orange hat at lunch. On Feb.19 leaders of the Heads-Up, Phones Down Contest set up a table on Main Street and handed out hats to students walking by. The contest which brings awareness to phone distractions when walking or driving, encourages students to create their own video regarding the issue. Students have to opportunity to receive 5 SSL hours and win a grand prize of a $1000 laptop. “I think it’s a really good cause to participate in,” Gonzales-Carranza said
