Jessica Wang, Video Editor
Senior Jessica Wang is excited to be The Tide's Video Editor this year! This is her fourth year in Tide Multimedia after being the Assistant Video Editor for the past two years. In her free time, Jessica enjoys playing piano and doing crosswords.
Uma Patnaik, Editor-in-Chief
Uma Patnaik is a senior in her fourth year on The Tide and she is very excited to be an Editor-in-Chief! Previously, she was a Video and TidePod editor. Outside of school, she plays competitive squash and enjoys listening to music and exploring cafes in DC.
Ria Maheshwary, Opinions Editor
Senior Ria Maheshwary is in her third year on the Tide, and second year as an Opinions Editor. She's excited to continue covering issues in the RM community as well as relevant and controversial global happenings. In her free time, Ria loves dancing, cooking, and rewatching FRIENDS.
Tara Amin, Print Managing Editor
Senior Tara Amin is in her fourth year working with The Tide. Last year, she was the Opinions Editor, and this year, she is the Print Managing Editor. She is really looking forward to working with the new writers and editors this year and developing the front page of each issue. She enjoys spending time with friends, listening to music, and playing field hockey and lacrosse for RM.
Amanda Gershoni, Sports Editor
Senior Amanda Gershoni in in her third year on The Tide and second as Sports Editors. As a second time sports editor, Amanda hopes to continue to innovate the section and maintain a diverse range of sports. In her free time, Amanda enjoys going shopping, playing lacrosse and spending time with friends.
Samantha Cutler, News Editor
Senior Sam Cutler is excited to start her fourth year on the Tide as News Editor. Previously, she has worked as assistant opinions editor and news writer. This year, she is excited to cover a variety of news stories impactful to the RM community. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading and listening to music.
Shelby Roth, Online Managing Editor
Senior Shelby Roth is in her fourth year on The Tide, having previously edited for Sports and Opinions. She is excited to work on making The Tide Online fun and engaging. In her free time, Shelby enjoys playing field hockey and reading.
Humsa Tammera, Photo Editor
Humsa Tammera is a junior at Richard Montgomery High School. She is extremely excited to be a part of The Tide for another year! Before contributing as a Photo Editor, she was a Social Media Editor, and a Multimedia/TidePod contributor. In her spare time, she loves to practice and teach Taekwondo, watch shows, and go biking.
