On May 21, 2024, IB Physics 2 students launch water rockets Seniors Madeline Springer and Daria Vucea watch as physics teacher Mr. Goetz prepares their water rocket to be launched. As a final project before graduating, seniors in the IB physics 2 classes are competing in groups to make rockets that will take the longest time to fall back to the ground using what they learned in class. “Mr. Goetz makes everything so much fun.” Springer, who is going into aerospace engineering and physics at UMD next year, said. “It’s interesting to learn about how the world works cause we take so much of it for granted.”
