Representatives from the Maryland National Army Guard discuss recruiting opportunities for high school students. As part of Professional Week, RM hosted a Career Fair on Thursday, April 18 in the main gymnasium during period 4, lunch and period 5. Over 50 local organizations coordinated tables and distributed flyers with upcoming job, internship and volunteer opportunities. “[Through this fair,] we match students who are readily available sources of labor with companies who are in need and willing to provide summer jobs and service sector jobs, [and] also develop careers,” Internship Coordinator and social studies teacher David Breslaw said.
