With the first semester coming to a close, students in French teacher Madame Falloux’s French 5 course take time to reflect on how it has gone for them. First semester’s content included new vocabulary, the revision of grammar rules from previous years, and preparation for the oral parts of the IB and AP exams. “Quarter one of French was tough for me because I was adjusting to the new workload and class environment, but quarter two was a lot easier after I’d gotten the hang of the class and teaching style,” sophomore Sascha Wadhams said, “I feel ready for semester two and the workload.”
