Photo of the Day: “Heads up, Phones down” publicizes contest through neon hats
Pictured is a baseball cap endorsing “Heads Up, Phones Down”, a campaign to promote pedestrian safety. “Heads Up, Phones Down” is run by the Montgomery County Department of Transportation, and it involves a contest in which high-school students can submit a 30 second clip on the dangers of distracted driving- or, even, distracted walking. “Texting while driving is honestly pretty dumb,” said sophomore Lana Leschack, “Don’t do it.”
