Dancing and yelling to the DJ’s music, seniors grasp a chair in midair during the Senior Banquet on the evening of Thursday, March 9 at Lakewood Country Club. Earlier, they had a buffet dinner and heard the final senior superlative votes. “This is a really nice event and I think you see a different side of kids because it’s not just like a homecoming or a prom—there’s a dinner element to it,” assistant principal Ms. Robin Wheeler said. “And I liked the superlatives because this is my first class where I’ve known [the seniors] for four years, so I actually understood them.”
