RM Quizbowl members take turns moderating and playing a packet after school on Tuesday, Nov. 29. After watching some of a live World Cup game, the club members sit side by side to engage in a practice round while rotating seats periodically. This way, each person had the chance to not only try answering trivia questions, but also learn about scorekeeping during an actual competition. The purpose of practicing this way was to prepare members for the upcoming RM Winter Novice tournament that the club will organize and host on Dec. 18. “It was cool and engaging,” sophomore William Shi said. “I feel like [RM Winter Novice] will be a great tournament to like, build the team.”
