Calling all book lovers, the Diversity Book Club is a place for RM students to read and discuss books with POC representation. The Diversity Book Club had its first meeting Tuesday, Oct. 11 during lunch and gave pizza to the attendees. Members of the club will meet once a month in room 253 to discuss a book and vote on what to read next. The books can be from various genres including realistic fiction, fantasy, and non-fiction. “We are women of color and we just want to see representation in books,” Co-President and senior Isha Uprety said. “The club is to create relationships and facilitate really interesting subjects.”
