Photo of the Day: Students marvel at the full moon
A full moon is only present every 30 days and about 14 times a year, but it definitely appeared on Thursday night. Freshman Gabi Stephenson said, “My science teacher told me that the full moon was going to come out tonight and I got excited.” Moon patterns have been studied for thousands of years, but Stephenson said, “A lot of people don’t really pay attention to the patterns of the moon anymore. I think it’s cool that we’re learning about it in science class.”
