Photo of the Day: SAGA club stages a walkout

RM’s SAGA club organizes a student-led walkout in opposition of Florida’s recently passed “Don’t Say Gay Bill” during periods 2 & 3. Students carried brightly colored pride flags on their backs and shouted chants, lead by Senior Eleanor Clemans-Cope on a megaphone. Mrs. Sara Hasheem-Liles attended the walkout and reflects on her own personal experiences. “It just makes me kind of emotional, because I remember doing this exact same thing in high school too,” said Mrs. Hasheem-Liles.
