Photo of Day: Pit orchestra rehearses for Sound of Music

The RM pit orchestra practices pieces like “Do Rei Me” and “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” for the upcoming spring musical, The Sound of Music. The musicians have been on a tight rehearsal schedule with minimal time to prepare, but Dr. Perry and the musicians have been working towards what sophomore Sofia Eisenberg hopes will be “a quality performance”. “It’s really cool to be able to play with such a talented group and aid in the production of what’s going to be a great musical,” she said. Sound of Music opens on April 1st, with shows on the 1st, 2nd, 7th and 8th from 7-10 pm.
