Photo of the Day: NAHS brings joy to children’s hospitals

Junior Liz Frisbie works on her painting for the National Art Honor Society’s current project, Youth Art for Healing. Each painting will be displayed in local hospitals, including Shady Grove and the Children’s Inn at NIH. There are around twenty paintings and all are centered around nature. “My favorite part is working with a painting that’s so big because you usually don’t get to work with a canvas that size,” senior and NAHS president Gabrielle Hester said. “And it feels good to contribute to a good cause.”
