Photo of the Day: South Asian Student Association throws cultural fair

Through hard work and effort RM’s South Asian Student Association (SASA) successfully threw a cultural fair on Friday, November 5th. Students learned about South Asian culture, watched singing and dancing performances put on by the South Asian A Capella group (SAA) and Club Natya and were able to get henna drawn on their hand from SASA members. Senior Deep Kaur, pictured above, was one of the henna artists. “The turn out was much larger than I expected but it was great!” Kaur said. “I tried to finish a design in about a minute so everyone that wanted henna could get some and I had the help of 2 other ladies who did an amazing job.”
