In the February edition of the Tide, an article in the Opinions section titled “Leadership workshops lack direction” misrepresented my experience in the Dale Carnegie Young Adult Leadership Program. The article only included the negative statements that I made about my experience, and excluded the positives. There were pros and cons to my experience, and although the article may have suggested otherwise, I have respect for the values of the Dale Carnegie program, and overall, I had a positive experience.
