Liliana Katz-Hollander and Naina Nambiar watch the screen in their APUSH class on Wednesday, April 19th, as SGA candidates present their speeches. Earlier in the day, they voted for their preferred SMOB candidate. Liliana, who has been campaigning to be the Class of 2025 Treasurer, states “I was so glad that we were able to pre-record our speeches rather than doing them live. I think mine came out pretty well, considering how nervous I was.” Both Liliana and Naina have had experience with being in the SGA, stating that they understood the pressure that comes along with campaigning and preparing speeches to present.
