“My mother and I are allergic to cats, but we really wanted a cat. However, at the time, we also had a dog. So, it was this big struggle to find a cat that my mom and I weren’t allergic to, and that got along well with my dog. And turns out my mom and I are both allergic to my cat. But we loved him so much, we kept him. He doesn’t like attention until he really, really needs attention. Like, you’ll go up and pat him and he’ll be like, “Get away from me.” But then at four in the morning, he’s meowing at your door because all he wants is your love and attention.”
